Kit Wilson
Physiotherapist
I qualified with a BSc honours degree in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2014.

Since then I have worked within the NHS alongside doctors, GP's and consultants in a variety of specialities. This has allowed me to develop expert clinical knowledge to treat a large range of conditions, illness and injuries. During that time I have also worked alongside semi professional and amateur sports teams, giving me specialist knowledge for the treatment, management and return to sport requirements for athletes of all levels and various sports.

I have further studied to receive a qualification in medical acupuncture in 2020, I then completed a Masters module in injection therapy at York St John University in 2022 more recently I am completing a further masters module in First contact Physiotherapy at University of Central Lancashire. All allowing me to gain further specialist assessments and treatment skills. I currently work at a number of GP surgeries in the Ryedale area completing Assessments and Diagnostics along with Referring into other specialists such as Orthopaedics, Spinal consultants and Rheumatology

Not only this but I am a keen sportsman myself; Having played for amateur rugby teams such as Malton and Norton RUFC, I enjoying running in the country side, cycling both on and off the road as well as enjoying alpine sports such as mountaineering and skiing. I therefore understand what it means when you have had a sport injury, work injury or need some advice for a niggling pain that doesn't seem to settle.
