TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

The Balance Rooms Ltd Terms & Conditions - Waiver

By attending any yoga or ballet classes, I hereby agree to the terms and conditions set out by The Balance Rooms Ltd (referred hereinafter to as “The Balance Rooms”) directing office as follows:

​

1. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the yoga or ballet classes or any other exercise programme offered by The Balance Rooms, during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga, ballet, postures, physical exercise, or health. I am aware that exercise involves physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I assume all risks and hazards associated with such activities.

2. I understand and accept that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the yoga or ballet classes, holistic treatments, or masterclasses and events offered by The Balance Rooms. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in these activities.

3. If pregnant, I acknowledge that I participate fully at my own risk and that of my unborn child/children.

​

4. As a condition of my participation in the yoga and ballet classes, holistic treatments, or masterclasses and events, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of my participation.

​

5. I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim I may have against The Balance Rooms, its teachers and instructors, or substitute teachers, and its practitioners for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in these activities.

​

6. I understand that during yoga and ballet classes, the instructor may physically adjust my form and posture. If I do not want such physical corrections, I will inform the instructor at each class I attend. I acknowledge that if I do wish to receive such adjustments, it is my responsibility to inform the instructor when an adjustment has gone as far as I desire at that time.

7. I take full and sole responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property associated with my participation in the yoga classes or any other events offered by The Balance Rooms.

​

8. The Balance Rooms may occasionally take photographs during classes and events for marketing and social media purposes. I am assured that The Balance Rooms will always respect my privacy and will not use any photographs that I do not wish to be included in. If I would prefer not to have my photograph taken or shared publicly, it is my responsibility to let The Balance Rooms know by contacting them directly either in person during the class or at the reception or via email: adele@thebalancerooms.co.uk

By continuing to attend Flow The Balance Rooms, I am consenting to the use of any photographs that may be taken during class for marketing and promotional purposes.

9. This waiver is considered as being accepted for each use of the website or the app, and for each participation of classes or appointments booked through the website, the Balance Rooms app, the reception, email or phone (this list is non exhaustive). I am considered as fully responsible and having full capacity of my cognitive abilities while using The Balance Rooms services.

The Balance Rooms Yoga Studio and Wellness Center understands that your privacy is important to you and to your family. Personal Data must only be used for what it is necessary for our services. The Balance Rooms Team of instructors and practitioners - designated further along as “We” (or “Us”) - respect and value the privacy of everyone who connects to this website https://www.thebalancerooms.co.uk/ - designated further along as “Our Site”. We will only collect and use personal data in ways that are described here, and in a way that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under the law.
