Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master & Receptionist
Liz Vowles
"Yoga is so much more than simply an exercise class. No other exercise can leave you feeling stretched, invigorated, calm and clear (even occasionally insightful) all at the same time.

Since beginning Yoga as a teenager, it has become an essential practice for me, sustaining me throughout my life. During stressful times, my personal practice of Yoga and meditation has grounded me and taught me to live courageously.

Having studied with a number of inspirational teachers, I completed my teacher training with Sun Power Yoga, and am delighted to share my passion for Yoga with people of all ages and abilities. I believe Yoga has the potential to transform all aspects of life, showing us a deeper way to 'be'."

Liz is teaching Liz teaches Restorative Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Gentle Pilates, Chair Yoga, and Beginners' Yoga. ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE CLASSES IN THE STUDIO!

Yoga Teacher
Kristina Scott
"My love of yoga began around eight years ago when I started practicing yoga regularly. I realised how wonderful I felt afterwards, both physically and mentally and I was hooked!
My practice increased during lockdown and gave me the focus I needed during a very unusual time. It was during this time I decided to take my passion for yoga further and trained as a yoga teacher, completing my 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher training in June 2023.
I absolutely love movement! My classes focus on connecting the mind and body through movement, as we focus on the breath to guide us through our flow. I like to end our practice with deep relaxation, letting stillness replace movement. This allows the mind and body to calm and fully restore, creating a moment of space in our busy lives."

Kristina teaches Monday Morning Flow, Beginners' Yoga, Core and restore Yoga, HIIT Yoga, Energising Flow and Yin, Chair Pilates. ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE CLASSES IN THE STUDIO!

Yoga Teacher
Bridget Strong
Bridget has joined our wonderful team in September 2025 and is teaching Teen Yoga and Iyengar Yoga every Thursday !
In Bridget's own words "Yoga has been a companion in life for me for over 30 years. It has protected and enhanced my wellbeing both emotionally and physically and continues to be an important foundation in my life. I play the violin and love cycling and walking.Yoga helps me maintain flexibility and strength as well as releasing tension.
My desire to share the benefit of yoga led to my decision to train as a teacher. I qualified in 2007 and am now a level 2 teacher registered with the Iyengar Yoga Association (UK).

I teach at all levels and particularly welcome beginners as well as those with more experience. I love to see the benefit that yoga brings to my students - including to those who tell me “I’m too stiff to do yoga!”"

She was also highly commended for my clinical work. Her training is extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and acupuncture theory, with a focus on the Five Element approach. This style of acupuncture is completely individual to each patient. It works on the whole person to promote better functioning and balance, thereby addressing problems at the root and benefitting mental and physical health.

Sound Bath Practitioner and Healer
Jim French
"When we begin a sound bath I do an introduction and briefly explain what a sound bath is and the benefits. The sound will be doing most of the talking already.
About ten years ago I was on a channelling retreat and one of the women who ran the workshop also did sound work and did a sound bath for us in the evening. This experience got me totally hooked. From there I trained in sound work with Sarah Gregg from the Sheila Whittaker school of sound therapy. My training took almost two years and I had to complete 40 individual case studies and group sound baths. I have a diploma in sound work certified by the CMA.
My sound baths are a journey into the inner self and are quite intense. It is an extended meditation using sound to carry each person to where they need to go. I use a variety of instruments including gongs, singing bowls, native American flute, lithophone and various rattles."
